Rito had nearly backed out, if only because this building was rather intimidating. It was well off-campus, in the normal areas of town, and one of the highest towers in this plaza. And once he'd made sure he had the right tower, he was directed to the very top floor, the penthouse suite. Which seemed insane for a housewarming party, but when he rang the bell, it was the very woman who invited him that opened the door.

"Come in, have a good look around. I invited all the gun club girls but this place is still fuckin' huge."

An expensive as hell. But given how much she was making Volume had decided to secure her own accommodation... and a penthouse where she and all her friends could crash in style and luxury seemed perfect. With Hydral still providing room, board, and a living stipend she didn't have a ton of other overheads and her career was going great, so she could afford to splash out.
